Children and youth are at the centre of everything we do, which is why we have robust policy procedures and practices in place to protect all children who come into direct, or indirect, contact with the charity from any form of abuse, neglect, or exploitation.
Community Pathway Africa (CPA UK) is committed to preventing abuse and promoting the safety, protection, well-being, and development of all our beneficiaries especially women and children, and young people involved in the programmes it supports. Effective safeguarding is fundamental to CPA’s activities. As an ethical charity, we seek to ensure that we do not harm anyone who works for, or who comes into contact with the charity.
The charity expects its staff, board members, consultants, interns, volunteers, external partners, and visitors whom it may bring into contact with beneficiaries as well as our grantee partners to have a strong commitment to safeguarding practices and observe the obligations placed upon them by our safeguarding policy.
As part of our Safeguarding Policy, we have set up a Reporting Abuse mechanism to assist CPA to identify safeguarding abuses related to the charity’s activities.
