Prince Arkoh Clayman
Chief Executive Officer


Strong and effective leadership helps the charity to adopt an appropriate strategy for effectively delivering its aims. Community Pathway Africa (CPA) is committed to fostering, cultivating, and preserving a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion. All our trustees have appropriate skills and knowledge of the charity and can give enough time to be effective in their role. We embrace and encourage our Trustees’ differences in age, colour, disability, ethnicity, gender identity or expression, and other characteristics that make our employees unique.


The board adopts values, applies ethical principles to decisions, and creates a welcoming and supportive culture that helps achieve the charity’s purposes. The board is aware of the significance of the public’s confidence and trust in charities.  It reflects the charity’s ethics and values in everything it does.


Clayman is a qualified HR Manager who holds a degree in Human Resource and Project Management. He is a professional consultant in the social care sector for over 10 years, working with both national and international organizations in both the private and charitable sectors to improve outcomes for local communities.


Prior to founding Community Pathway Africa, he worked as a Country Project Coordinator in Ghana for a number of international charities which include Students Go Abroad (SGA, Germany), and Apurva Internationa (Spain). He has considerable experience in managing finance, HR and operations. Clayman has a real passion for creating transformational spaces in which women and children determine the course of their lives and reach their full potential.

Ms. Machado Prabhu (Legal Compliance Officer)

 

Zara is a solicitor with over a decade of international legal experience. Her work has spanned the Middle East, Europe, and APAC regions in a diverse range of sectors, including higher education, human rights, and (more recently) transport and infrastructure. Alongside her professional specialization, Zara volunteers for local community initiatives to support social inclusion and reduce isolation.

Zara is excited to be a part of CPA’s grassroots systems approach to supporting vulnerable communities and empowering them over the long term through education and financial freedom.

Mr. Louis Edozie
Fundraising

 

Louis is passionate about enhancing safe environments that enable children, young people, and vulnerable adults to thrive. He has over 9 years of experience in the Healthcare Industry working for large and complex health organizations in the United Kingdom.

 

Louis has held regional and national roles in HR, Project Management, and Digital Health & Innovation. Louis feels that feel that everyone has a role to play in creating a more just and equal world and working in this role as a Trustee will help to address and tackle the root causes of poverty and health inequalities this in turn will help create measurable change as everyone should have an opportunity to create a better life.

Ms. Claudia Newton
Administrative Secretary

 

Based in London UK, she holds a Master’s degree in Applied (International) Development Studies from the University of Reading. She has had various experiences volunteering with charities and international development organizations both at HQ and overseas. Her field of experience is in the areas of customer service, fundraising, administration, teaching, and blogging. She describes herself as a go-getter, creative, and development enthusiast.

Mark Andrew Vasey
Fundraising

 

Mark is a security and risk management professional. Educated at Buckinghamshire New University and then served thirteen years with the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office. Mark worked across a range of economic and security issues focusing predominantly on Africa and the Middle East, before leaving in 2021 for a career in corporate security.

 

Mark’s motivation to work with Community Pathway Africa comes from deep-rooted beliefs around supporting young people and empowering them to lead fulfilling lives, free from child labour. He is honoured to work with CPA and to deliver on the objectives to reduce poverty, and help foster financial freedom, growth, and opportunity for women and children.

Mr. Ashwin Nair
Finance

 

Ashwin Nair holds an Accounting and Finance degree from the University of Bath which was funded by a scholarship from EY. Having completed placements in audit at the firm, he moved into corporate finance valuations, where he gained experience consulting across international borders. In a desire to pivot towards NGOs, Ashwin secured a place on the Civil Service Fast Stream, the coveted flagship program for the UK Civil service, and currently works in the Cabinet Office.

 

Prior to joining Community Pathway Africa as a Trustee, Ashwin fundraised for ActionAid and UNICEF, ran the London marathon, and completed the Mount Everest Base Camp challenge for the charities. He is passionate about volunteering and currently tutors underprivileged children in his spare time through the Access Project.
