We are creating a new volunteer network of supporters across the United Kingdom who will take action on our behalf at events, as advocates, and participate in our international volunteer work placement overseas. As an international Volunteer, you will learn about different cultures, expand your networks, study or perfect foreign languages and gain matchless professional and life experiences.
Working in the United Kingdom and in Ghana gives you the opportunity to step outside your comfort zone, learn new approaches to tasks and problems, and operate in different environments.
The importance of engaging volunteers in the charity’s projects and programs is the transfer of knowledge and provision of resources to promote activities that aim to enrich the lives of people living in poverty.
The charity recruits qualified volunteers with professional backgrounds and experience in our proposed projects and programs to serve as principal development agents. One after another, volunteers rotate through a training site, sharing their expertise, and building a knowledge base. They develop care in a truly resource-scarce environment and build relationships that facilitate the exchange of ideas and information. They develop deep friendships during rotations overseas whiles contributing their skills and energy to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
